Where to drop off and pick up
For short pick-up and drop-off stops, use Biskop Gunnerus' gate under the Byporten shopping centre by the taxi rank, or the Airport Express Train terminal on the sea side, also by the taxi rank. Frequent building work changes the traffic layout near the station, so follow the road signs.

North entrance partly closed in November
During weeks 43–47 the north entrance towards the bus terminal and Oslo City is partly closed for maintenance; the stairs from Biskop Gunnerus' gate and the side door stay open, but the roundabout does not.

Oslo toll rings and rush hour
Fjellinjen's Inner Ring and Oslo Ring charge in both directions, the City Border only on the way into Oslo. Rush-hour rates apply 06.30–09.00 and 15.00–17.00 except at weekends, on public holidays and in July, and the one-hour rule means you pay for only one crossing per hour on each ring system.

Studded-tyre fee in all of Oslo
From 1 November 2026 to 4 April 2027 you need a studded-tyre permit (piggdekkoblat) to drive on studded tyres anywhere in Oslo, even just passing through.
