Since 1 December 2025 street parking and open-air municipal car parks in central Esbjerg are free: two hours with a parking disc, or 30 minutes on short-stay bays. The time cannot be extended, so move the car before it runs out.

Borgergade and Danmarksgade car parks: 4 hours free
In the Borgergade and Danmarksgade multi-storey car parks the first 4 hours are free, but parking must be registered from the start by app or machine (not with a P-disc); after that it costs 12 kr. per hour.
