Studded tyres are not allowed on Friggagatan and Odinsgatan, so drivers with studs must choose another route; the police fine is 1,000 kr. Crossing traffic is exempt, for example crossing Odinsgatan at Barnhusgatan or driving round the Odinsplatsen roundabout.
