Valletta: park outside the city
Driving in Valletta is tricky, with tight corners, one-way streets and limited parking. Malta's tourism authority recommends parking outside the city; a Park-and-Ride in Floriana runs regular shuttle buses to and from Castille Place.

Gozo ferry: no reservations, ticket paid in Gozo
The Gozo Channel ferry takes no reservations: cars queue in the marshalling areas at Ċirkewwa (Malta) and Mġarr (Gozo) and board first come, first served. The car-and-driver round-trip ticket is bought online or at the Mġarr vehicle ticket booths and is checked at Mġarr before the crossing back.
